Kimberly A. Okezie

Special Master OkezieKimberly A. Okezie was appointed Juvenile Court Magistrate for the First Judicial District Court in January 2015. Kimberly is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and Wyoming School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Kimberly clerked for the Honorable James T. Russell for the First Judicial District Court of Nevada. Prior to assuming this assignment, Kimberly was employed as a Deputy District Attorney with the Carson City District Attorney's Office, and also as a Deputy Attorney General with the Office of the Nevada Attorney General. As Juvenile Court Magistrate for the First Judicial District Court, Kimberly presides over juvenile delinquency cases, cases involving the protection of children under NRS Chapter 432B, and child support cases. As the Discovery Commissioner, Kimberly is also responsible to administer the Civil Arbitration Program and Family Mediation Program.
